About Streamline AI

Streamline AI’s mission is to become the primary intake and workflow automation system for in-house legal teams and eventually all enterprise G&A teams.  We are carving out a niche in an underserved market and have developed an exciting product that is selling into a largely blue ocean market.

We have just closed an oversubscribed Series A (14M in total funding), achieved product-market fit, and onboarded over 70 customers, many of which are household names (Gusto, Hims, Grammarly, Logitech, to name a few). Our Founder and CEO, Kathy Zhu, has deep customer empathy and strong network connections from her previous role as an executive at DoorDash and is actively involved in building out the customer pipeline and marketing our business.

About this role

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO to help enable our next chapter of growth. This is a highly impactful role that works directly with the CEO and collaborates across all teams. You'll be at the center of strategic planning, company operations, and internal and external communications. This is a great opportunity for a generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, has a figure it out attitude, and is eager to grow alongside a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

As Chief of Staff, you will handle:

  • Event & Community Coordination
Organize customer and team events, offsites, and community-building initiatives. Oversee our customer community, with a longer-term goal of building a customer advisory board.
  • Drive Strategic & Cross-Functional Initiatives
Spearhead cross-functional projects, including the rollout of HR processes, helping to improve team enablement, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Board & Leadership Operations
Coordinate quarterly board meetings, leadership onsites, including prep and logistics. Manage weekly leadership meetings, quarterly OKR setting, and ensure follow-up on objectives and action items.
  • People & Finance Operations
Assist with onboarding and offboarding personnel, hiring processes, maintain compliance checklists, and help implement systems and processes that enable the company to scale.
  • Operational Excellence & Thought Partnership
Be a thought partner to the CEO. Track and follow through on critical internal processes, using tech to maximize efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A "no task too small" mentality – equally comfortable thinking big and rolling up your sleeves
  • Extremely self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to anticipate needs and act without being asked
  • A knack for bringing order to chaos, solving problems and puzzles, and making systems hum
  • A high-energy, optimistic outlook
  • Experience working with or at an early-stage startup
  • 3–5 years of operational experience, including working with or supporting senior leadership
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a passion for relationship-building
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • Experience with HRIS and financial systems
  • Event planning or community engagement
  • Experience running internal operations at an early-stage company
