About Streamline

The idea behind Streamline AI came from Kathy’s 10+ years of experience as a commercial lawyer, most recently building DoorDash's commercial legal and legal operations functions from the ground up. She directly experienced the pain caused by manual and scattered request intake that created a "black box" problem for business teams and legal teams alike.

Kathy had a fundamental belief that if we could completely solve the intake problem for legal teams, automate workflows, and give the right level of visibility into what’s being worked on, legal teams would become exponentially happier and more productive. She joined forces with Julian to bring that vision to life and Ed to share that vision with the market.

Kathy Zhu
Vision, Strategy, and Community
Kathy has over 10 years of experience in the legal profession. She started as a corporate lawyer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, advising startups through venture financings, M&A, and IPOs. Following that, she was the Director, Commercial at Medallia, closing some of the largest deals in company history. She was then hired by DoorDash to build and lead the Commercial Legal team and Legal Operations teams from the ground up to support the company’s growth from 1,000 - 6,000+ employees.

Kathy saw first hand at DoorDash how request intake and management was crucial to the efficient management of her team. She combines her deep empathy with the user experience and passion for technology to solve the “intake problem” for legal teams everywhere. In her free time, she is a dedicated meditator, goldendoodle mom, and SCUBA enthusiast.
